As we are approaching the shorter cold days of Fall, you need to take advantage of this colorful season; and smooth the transition. Fall is full of color and give us wide variety of seasonal activities to do. There are plenty of ways to fully enjoy the Fall, however I came up with a list of activities that would bring joy and health to you.

One of my most favorite things to do is taking a stroll on Sundays and enjoy a cup of coffee. I believe a fresh cup of coffee has a power over me and takes me to places. I would walk for miles if I’d know I will be rewarded with a cup of fresh coffee. One of the advantages of an urban living is the accessibility to so coffee shops and restaurant, however sometimes you need to be detached from the chaos. Sometimes all you need is some quiet time in the nature after working all day or socializing on the weekend. Whether you want to soothe your mind and body, or just indulge in some relaxation time. Within sight of downtown, and a hub of stressful modern life, you need to head out to nature. You need a break from the city and venture around.

Toronto is one of the greenest cities in the world, and has so many underrated hidden gems that worth discovering for. If you have not experience the pristine nature of the Torontonian wilderness, it is time to get out there and broaden your horizons. One of my most absolute favorite places is “Evergreen Brickwork”.

Evergreen is a “multimillion-dollar ecological and cultural center, the first of its kind in the world Directed by award-winning film maker Catherine Annau, Brick by Brick is the uplifting story of one man’s passion for saving the planet, one brick at a time.”
At Evergreen, you can experience tons of things to see and eat all year around. This rustic factory offers a great space for urban explorers, who are looking for art, history, food, adventure, etc.
Evergreen Gardens sells local plant, they promote city gardening. You can enjoy fresh goodies from the fine farmer’s market weekend. Also, the center offers the urban suitability lifestyle, you can enjoy organic food at the Café Belong located in the heart of the Evergreen. This rustic restaurant offers natural food from local farmers, the create the most memorable visits for their customers. Their mission is to create a sense of “belonging” to the environment at the evergreen. You can enjoy a fresh cup of coffee on the go or you can dine in.

The site is accessible via the Don valley Trail, you can also access the site by car or TTC. As you make your way to the back of the main building you have access to the park, lake, and the hiking area. You can sit by the lake on the muskoka chairs and enjoy the scenery or hike for 10 minutes and get to the top of hill, enjoy the view of downtown Toronto.
Evergreen also offers live performances, concerts, ice skating rinks in winter, winter village, Christmas market, weekends farmers market, children gardening classes, etc. The nature at this place is absolutely stunning all year around, especially right now in Fall. You should spend your next Sunday funday at the Evergreen.

Is there anything we forgot to mention about this hidden gem? Let us know!!
