Not your average "abnormal" store!

You may all visit Distillery District for their great preserved collection of Victorian Industrial Architecture, great restaurants, or unique boutiques. However, I recently have discovered a new store in the district, that I keep going back for. Back in summer I walked into a natural beauty store at the Distillery called “DECIEM - The Abnormal Beauty” and I was amazed by the look of the store. What makes this company unique is the minimal and welcoming look of the store, and of course the quality of their products. This new Canadian brand that now owns 18 stores all around the world, offers very affordable skin care products.

OIL FREE - VEGAN -AND DID I MENTION CANADIAN

They have transferred the industrial look of this space to a clean minimal environment. Their packaging is very simple and in line with brand. In my very first visit I got educated by their friendly staff about their different brands and products. They focus on one active ingredient without adding any expensive fillers. They offer products from skincare to haircare supplements. The Deciem website offers lots of information about each product. If you are looking for budget friendly and effective beauty products like me you need to try their products.

On my very first visit I purchased couple of their products. Even though, I was very skeptical about spending money on products I have never used or trusting a brand I have never heard of; I got convinced by their customers reviews. In one my "micro-moments" (while I was searching the products online), I was approached by one of the the staff and got educated about the product; also I learned that I can RETURN any used items for a FULL REFUND up to ONE YEAR if I was not satisfied with the product. DOES IT GET BETTER THAN THIS? At that moment I got more interested in the company, cause to me this is just great advertising/marketing. If you are confident enough in your products and know the importance of customer service, you are already competing and winning in the market.

KEEPING SIMPLICITY at ITS FINEST

This high strength serum rehydrates fragile eye area and reduce dark circles. In my opinion, this serum tightens the skin and reduce fine lines under the eyes. It is very lightweight and it helps your concealer from creasing. After using this product religiously for 2 weeks, AM and PM, I was very pleased with the significant improvement. I started using this in the morning before putting any makeup, and mixing it at night with another product (Alpha Lipoic Acid) I discovered on my second visit.

I am not sure what is in this little affordable bottle (I know - but not sure how does the magic work ), but it definitely WORKS! this product renews skin appearances and tone the skin. It is highly recommended to use this product at night. The only downside of this product is the strong scent, since it is all natural and fragrant free, the natural scent of the formulation is pretty rancid.

All in all very satisfied with this company and their products. their products are simple, functional , and affied ordable. I hope to see more products and more expansion from this brand in the near future.
